Razor’s Traitorous Heart

Hero’s and Heroins who are both smart, competent, and willing to protect others.
Characters who behave in keeping with the personalities S.E. Smith gave them and the dialogue to make that work.
World-building. Holy wow. Can she ever! Words escape me.
Plot and story are always deep and a little subtly beautiful. This one, what we do for those we love. It is fantastic!!! (I don’t think that is too much of a spoiler.)
And always, always, S.E. Smith gives us more to be curious about and a HEA that doesn’t feel contrived or hurried up to get there to hit that word count.
At the end of the day, she just writes a really, really fantastic story. (Series)

One of the best series out there alien or not.

Anna brings fantastic heroins. Hero you love and who aren’t the same character over and over. The plot of the series is great. World building very cool. I hate to see it ending soon. So i think I’ll just reread it. Or Re listen.

First look at a new series.

I love that Delta does a lot of things really well. The characters were fleshed out deeply enough and appropriate to the story line and pace. It also helped if you know when there were folks who popped up and made cameos from the past - she told you. But knowing the back stories made the whole story bigger. I love this about her writing. I also love, love, can’t say it enough, thank you for not getting in the head space and falling on repeat. And the playtime. Just yum. Ok maybe 4 Yums.

Bull and Frankie

What’s not to love about a story that delves the depths of friendship, what happens when we are the family member that doesn’t fit in and trust issues. Mix in men who are by definition yummy, a great plot and there ya go. It is fun, emotionally difficult, beautiful, happily ever after.
It is a Cherise Sinclair book.

Lisa Kessler is a new artist for me.

The premise of the series is fun and interesting.

I admit when she touched on a child needing parents I got nervous. I shouldn’t have.

I liked the characters attitudes, backstories and spunk. The dialogue was good.

The plot was interesting. A bit Percy Jackson for grownups. Sweet and fun with some feels too.

Delta James + JT Farrell is always a great listen.
You just know he reads it the way she wrote it. And it sounds like it happened. And I wish I was there. Love the new Tangled Vines Series.

Ok first. I got used to Mr. Macrae and even liked him. Though at times you had to pay attention to know who was speaking - which I find distracting.

That said, the only other thing I ever find frustrating about these books is the restating of the thinking or emotions several dozen times. I get it. We do it in our heads. I don’t need to be reminded repeatedly how a person feels or their motivation. A couple times yes, absolutely! We all get distracted. Even explaining how that character sees an event differently than others might— GG does this very well!! It adds depth to the story and moves it along so we don’t need the whole repeat repeat. But no matter how many repeats, and no matter how many times I wonder if it’s to fill a word count. I still really like the story.
