Historia
In 1948, a young white English woman, Ruth Williams, made headline news all over the world. For she had met, fallen in love with, and married Seretse Khama, an African prince and heir to the chieftainship of a tribe of more than 100,000 people - the Bamangwato. At first, the marriage was no more welcome in Africa than in government circles in London. Within a year of their wedding, the young couple had provoked an astonishing series of events that had never been explained.

This is a good book chronicling and not-well-known portion of Western and African history.

Historia
In this stirring audiobook, David McCullough tells the intensely human story of those who marched with General George Washington in the year of the Declaration of Independence, when the whole American cause was riding on their success, without which all hope for independence would have been dashed and the noble ideals of the Declaration would have amounted to little more than words on paper.

Another Great David McCullough Book
Revisado: 04-27-21
This, like all of his books, is well researched and well written. He does a good job including details but not excessively so the main story line is kept. This book follows the struggle between the colonies in America and Britain

Historia
This Puritan classic, first published in the late 17th century, sets forth the biblical teaching of God and his interaction in our lives. No detail is too small or insignificant for God; he is there, working out "all things for good". And in that promise, every believer can take comfort that God truly has a purpose for every single person and will unfold his plan, which includes every detail in our daily lives.

Encouraging
Revisado: 03-19-21
The way Flavel writes is fantastic - he describes how a Christian ought to think given difficult situations. He also describes how we ought not to think. Highly recommended for a Christian going through tough times.
