Loved it! I'm a 79 year old cyclist, looking to feel even better, and this book pushed me over completely to being a vegan...after years of semi vegitarianism. Thanks Rich!

I read a ton of true adventures from the jungles to the poles, on bicycles, boats, skis and crampons, and I consider this book to be one of the best. It's not a super risky, or out-of-this-world, edge-of-your-seat adventure. It's simply a well written, well narrated, intriguing trek by real people (intelligent and talented), stretching themselves to fulfil their extreme dream..... far beyond the imagination of most of us.
