Historia
They were madly in love. The perfect couple. That was the story everyone in South River believed...until Gin Talcott and Adam Archer are found shot in their bed. Adam is dead at the scene. Gin is fighting for her life. Detectives Greta Jessup and Finn Pate are assigned to the case. Greta has a long history with Gin’s first husband, Eddie, and is determined to protect his 18-year-old twins. Piper discovered the bodies. Daniel is missing—and so is Adam’s gun.

Great book with lots of plot twists… HORRIBLE NARRATION
Revisado: 11-06-24
I truly feel like I would’ve enjoyed this book so much more if I’d read it. The plot is amazing so please don’t let the horrible, montone, bad accent narration deter you. If you’re a kindle person definitely get the book and read at your leisure. If you’re an audible person, suck it up. The plot is definitely worth it!

I should’ve just read the book
Revisado: 07-27-24
Like others, I was highly anticipating the release of this book to conclude an amazing series. I feel like there could be more but I’m satisfied with the conclusion. Great plot and character development as usual. Tomi is a master at world building…
However, the narration was so FLAT! for most of the book I couldn’t tell which character was speaking and there was ZERO emotion! She was so “meh” it took me two weeks to finish because it just wasn’t engaging. I don’t know why Macmillan changed narrators but please we want Bahni back!!!!!!!!

Excellent Story!

Literally a ride from beginning to end. Great juxtaposition to modern societal issues while still allowing the listener an escape from the right/left drama.

I mean… it’s OKAY I guess
Revisado: 06-25-24
The storyline was quite predictable. Nothing to write home about. Crazy that it’s gonna be a paramount movie. It was just…meh…
