What was one of the most memorable moments of A Warrior's Path?
The main character's one-man assault on the caverns.
What does Nick Podehl bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
First up Nick Podehl was an excellent choice as a narrator. Every character he voices is clearly distinguishable from others. His representation of Suwraith's voice conveys her madness extremely well. All in all an excellent job by the narrator.
Any additional comments?
My reactions are mixed between anger for not picking up this series sooner and relief that I didn't have to wait for the sequels to come out. I enjoyed this series immensely (finished book 3 just this morning). The actions sequences are well explained, the romance is slow, subtle but still meaningful. The series was very engaging. I stopped listening to the 3rd book and started READING it because I didn't want to wait 19 hours to reach the end.

A cold, dark tale of manipulation, betrayal, lust and surprisingly, love. The narration was excellent as well.

Read the Warning Label!

Had me laughing from just reading the description

Like I said in the headline this book had me laughing from just reading the warning label in the description. The story is fun, naughty, erotic and action packed. There is a lot of sex in the book, but it is mature and well acted out. The narrator does an extremely good job of simulating the sex scenes as well as the voices of different characters. Loved how Alex was able to help himself in the last few chapters rather than relying on his friends. Bringing back his skills along with his memories was a novel touch.

Loved the series!!!

The entire series is a fantastic blend of mythology, science fiction, romance and action. My only complaint is that each book is too short.
