Senator Ted Kennedy says goodbye

When Senator Ted Kennedy realized that he was terminally ill, he decided to write this book.

He lets the reader (listener) know a lot about his life. This man had so many hardships to overcome, and yet he did overcome.
Ted (Edward) Kennedy had the horrible experience of seeing not one, yet two, of his brothers shot to death. His brother JFK (John F. Kennedy) and Robert Kennedy were both killed while running for President of the USA.

A lot of people would have just given up if that had happened to them. He went on to become a United States Senator in Massachusetts. Ted believed in the USA. He believed in making the USA a better place. When George W. Bush won as President, US Senator Ted Kennedy reached across the isle to work with him. He was one of the few democrats who wanted to work with both republicans and democrats.

He also was very close to his nieces and nephews. Ted Kennedy led a great life. He was good to his family. He was a good citizen, and a good Senator.

This book inspired me to be a better person.

I have listened to the book several times, it is a great book about a great man.

Dr. Tony Evans and his four adult children explain that bad things can happen to good people. Despite hardships, the Evan's family never lost sight of what was important; faith and family. Their relationship to God is still strong. I loved this book and plan on listening to it again and again.

Wonderful Book

Dick Van Dyke shares his life story. He includes the joy and heartbreak in his life.

He is a wonderful person. At one part of the story he talked about visiting a children’s hospital cancer ward. He and some friends sang for the children. One little boy asked “Can you sing another song?”. They sang some more.

This is a book that will remind you that there are still nice people in this world. Dick Van Dyke is a nice person.
