I love this narrator, he saved it for me!

Some of the stories are decent, but I read and listen to ESCAPE reality, I don't want or need the multitude of political and COVID references. It seems all his work since 2020 has a lot of this in them. This will be the last Stephen King book I pay money for. His writing is FICTION, why is it nessary for him to include so many COVID references, with his obvious opinion of that situation in them!? The references have nothing to do with the stories or outcomes, he just throws his opinion in and that ruins it for me. These stores are ok, but half assed compared to his previous work.

Jacki is still clinging to her all-or-nothing policy, but Kalugal is chipping away at her resistance. Perhaps it’s time to ease up on her convictions. A little less than all is still much better than nothing, and a couple of decades with a demigod is probably worth more than a lifetime with a mere mortal.

I don't want to hear about covid19!

I absolutely love this series! The story is addicting. But, I listen to books to escape the crappy reality we are currently living in. I don't want to hear about "the virus" or polotics in my paranormal romances, or in movies, or at Sports games! Please consider this when writing. Listening is suppose to be relaxing, but at every mention of "the virus" I cringe! Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
