I listen to Laura on the podcast Real Crime Profile. If you loved this podcast, you will love RCP because its Laura discussing hundreds of true cases just like this and educating people about abusers. Shout out to Jim and Lisa too ❤

I listen to STM on spotify and I'm on episode 260 something. I'll be sad when I'm all caught up. I will likely start binging their other podcast.

Love or Hate James Comey, This Is Worth A Read

I just got done reading James Comey's book, A Higher Loyalty; now I am reading Fire and Fury by Michael Wolfe. Out of the two, James Comey's book is awesome. He's got a great style of writing. The Fire and Fury book....holy shit. Insightful.

I will admit I was rather ignorant when it came to the "scandal" regarding Hillary's emails. I was also one of the many American's pissed at James Comey for doing what he did to Hillary, then felt conflicted when he turned on Trump. He explains all this very clearly in his book. If you love or hate James Comey, it won't matter. He, as an attorney, a former prosecutor, and at the time, head of the FBI, explains the legalities and the ethics behind his actions, his reasoning, as well as the reactions of the people around him, including but not limited to Loretta Lynch.

He talks about when and how he found out Trump had fired him. He talks about his reaction to the news and the reactions of the people around him. He compares Trump to Obama, as a person and as the sitting President. He also talks about his interactions with Robert Muller, and his thoughts on Robert Muller's character.

Up until this book, I thought of James Comey as kind of an asshole, who went where the political winds blew him. After reading this book, I have a better understanding of how politics in Washington bleed into the ethical obligations of agencies such as the FBI, and that James Comey did his best to stop the bleeding, and for his efforts, the bus not only drove over him, but backed up and drove over him again. He knew it would and he decided to do what he did anyway. He took a proverbial bullet for the American people. I hope history will thank him.

As far as this book as an Audio book. I found James Comey's voice VERY soothing and elegant. I could listen for 10 more hours.
