Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he’s alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. But Mark isn't ready to give up yet.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Wasn’t a section I didn’t love
Revisado: 06-17-21
I loved this whole book!! Amazingly written and read! You won’t regret listening. I didn’t feel like it was a “self help book” but more of a story with magnificent characters - who all just happen to be real

Historia
Our "30-is-the-new-20" culture tells us that the twentysomething years don't matter. Some say they are an extended adolescence. Others call them an emerging adulthood. But 30 is not the new 20. In this enlightening book, Dr. Meg Jay reveals how many twentysomethings have been caught in a swirl of hype and misinformation that has trivialized what are actually the most defining years of adulthood.

Wish I had this at 19
Revisado: 03-01-18
This book was great! I'm 26 and a lot of this I've already realized. If I had this book in my early 20s I think it would have given me the courage to take those risks in my career and would have made me feel like it was OK to think about marriage and not just stay in relationships "just because." I needed that vote of courage and nudge when I was younger but instead I battled with myself on it and did things much later.
This book helps give young adults a healthy dose of perspective!
