Historia
There's no such thing as a perfect guy, but Xavier Rush comes disastrously close. A gorgeous veterinarian giving Greek god vibes—all while cuddling a tiny kitten? Immediate yes. That is until Xavier opens his mouth and proves that even sculpted gods can say the absolute wrong thing. Like, really wrong. Of course, there’s nothing Samantha loves more than proving an asshole wrong . . . unless, of course, he can admit he made a mistake.

Historia
In 2022, Lisa Marie Presley asked her daughter to help finally finish her long-gestating memoir. A month later, Lisa Marie was dead, and the world would never know her story in her own words, never know the passionate, joyful, caring, and complicated woman that Riley loved and now grieved. Riley got the tapes that her mother had recorded for the book, lay in her bed, and listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about smashing golf carts together in the yards of Graceland, about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs, just the two of them.

Riley is one amazing woman 💪🏼
Revisado: 10-23-24
What a depressing and rough but very much needed listen. I loved getting to hear what an amazing mother Lisa was in spite of her very sad life. Riley has been through some very happy but sad times and I am sure Gladys, Elvis, and Lisa are all very proud of what she’s done for her family name. Thank you Riley for finishing this book. Recommend 10/10.

Historia
With courage, grace, and powerful insight, bestselling author Kristin Hannah captures the epic panorama of World War II and illuminates an intimate part of history seldom seen: the women's war. The Nightingale tells the stories of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France—a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. It is a novel for everyone, a novel for a lifetime.

Loved everything about this book while feeling devastatingly sad at the same time. Cried multiple times at the thought of these things that actually happened to so many. It’s a must read. Grateful for Kristin Hannah who can bring to light these times in world history to another generation.

Wow. What a brave soul he was to write this
Revisado: 11-08-23
I had no idea how much this poor man struggled. He was so brave to write so much detail about his life. It made me think of all those addicts and how hard their lives actually are. RIP Chandler. You are loved and missed.

Good one but too many epilogues?
Revisado: 06-17-23
Good story, but definitely be advised if you’ve ever ensured domestic violence, rape, or abuse. The woman narration didn’t seem innocent enough for Sloan’s character. Too many epilogues making it hard to follow and I wish the chapters were set up differently, but overall it was a good listen.

Revisado: 03-10-23
I absolutely loved this book! So many insights into who Elvis was before Hollywood, before he got into prescriptions, before the army, before his mom died, and while he was riding to stardom. I have a huge new appreciation for June! The performance was great, story fantastic, and left you asking and wishing in the Elvis world (like always), what if.

Couldn’t finish. Too much.
Revisado: 03-08-23
Stopped less than half way through, wasting a credit unfortunately. It wasn’t enough that Evelyn was a lesbian but it went way too far with everyone having to be LGBTQ in one way or another. Plenty other good reads out there. Don’t waste your credit.
