Growing up , into the 60's though the 70's , death of famous people , Vietnam, rock +roll . This book brought it all back so I could better understand what happened to me during this time. Absolutely best full story of Vietnam.

I search a lot for great books and this one has everything I love in a listen. Not comparing to James Lee Burke but the use of words to describe objects, or feelings, or time of day , or situations is perfect with intelligence and flow. Rare find in my searches. This Author is on my read list. With all the books out there we all need a little direction. Hope you appreciate this.TCB.

You will not be disappointed . I resisted listening to this but the sample of narrator drew me in and audio was perfect. I thought book was getting long when the ending just pulled me right back in.Thank you Charles Martin for describing love the way humans should think of it.

I liked the series main character and narrator.

The series system of survivalist stories is a money maker. You end up paying for three books and get one story.
Any additional comments?
They do not tell you when you start listening to first book that you will need to buy full series to find out what happens. So each book has whole sections about nothing ,just filling space, great idea if your the author trying to feed the kids.
