Historia
There is life beyond anxiety... You know the struggle. The unconscious part of you fights to keep anxiety alive while your conscious mind becomes more and more curious about what lies beyond anxiety. The question is, which one of these parts will succeed? If familiarity wins, so will anxiety, but if curiosity and a new approach toward uncertainty succeed, your true divine-self will begin to rise from beyond the shadows. This audiobook will give you a glimpse into what to expect along your anxiety-healing journey and how to thrive post-anxiety disorder.

Not worth it to me
Revisado: 07-06-23
I've watched Dennis' youtube videos and listened to his podcast, but this book didn't give me any useful information at all. I got to chapter 5 and quit. I retained zero information due to not hearing anything worth remembering or internalizing. I want to return this book but Audible won't let me. I hate that I've wasted a credit on a book that didn't help me.

Boring
Revisado: 04-19-23
Found this to be very boring and just reiterating the same lesson over and over. Seems to be for those who want confidence in the workplace.

Historia
If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed. On May 17, 2014, Admiral William H. McRaven addressed the graduating class of the University of Texas at Austin on their Commencement day. Taking inspiration from the university's slogan, "What starts here changes the world," he shared the ten principles he learned during Navy Seal training that helped him overcome challenges not only in his training and long Naval career, but also throughout his life; and he explained how anyone can use these basic lessons to change themselves - and the world - for the better.

Couldn’t finish
Revisado: 02-09-23
Didn’t finish due to feeling bored and uninspired. I even checked to see what I was listening to cuz it felt like I got the wrong book. Can’t find the option to return. Upset I wasted a credit on this.

Historia
Are you truly in danger or has your brain simply "tricked" you into thinking you are? In The Worry Trick, psychologist and anxiety expert David Carbonell shows how anxiety hijacks the brain and offers effective techniques to help you break the cycle of worry, once and for all. Anxiety is a powerful force. It makes us question ourselves and our decisions, causes us to worry about the future, and fills our days with dread and emotional turbulence.

Too much talk, no helpful information.
Revisado: 06-17-19
Narrator is good but the book and information is not. I felt as if the author was trying to explain my situation to me as if I wasn’t already aware. Nothing is more annoying than someone else trying to explain to you about how you feel. There’s so much talk and zero information on how to help constant intrusive thoughts and worrying. I made it to the 9th chapter and gave up because I couldn’t take it anymore. It was so boring and without any helpful information. Do yourself a favor and listen to Pass Through Panic by Claire Weekes if you want real information that will help you.
