I have followed Ms. Herrera's Indigenous Affairs reporting on KOSU for several years. I am happy to see her work available on an additional platform.

Too few Americans are aware of the history of the Freedmen, the impact of the McGirt decision or the combative stance of state government in relation to the tribes. This documentary is a good introduction to the complexities of daily life in Oklahoma.

Make the voices stop...

Good information. This author delves a bit more into Mexico than others have. I always want more information on what happened in Mexico as well as background on the individual Cuban exiles. This book offered more than most. It is a convoluted topic with so many characters. This would not be a good choice for someone new to the conspiracy. If the reader is familiar with the characters the author does a nice job connecting the dots.

The narration was terribly directed and edited. The impersonations were crude and distracting. Lines sound as if the were splced out abruptly and often repeated. I finally just increased the speed to power through it.

Cannot wait to share with my teenager

I want my child to listen to The Intelligent Investor, Rich Dad, Poor Dad and The Millionaire Next Door but to be honest I know they would be asleep within ten minutes of starting any of the above titles. This is a perfect selection.

Fascinating story difficult to follow

I chose this book as a followup to the Amazon series Z. It follows the story of each individual woman, year by year throughout the twenties. With the exception of the Fitzgeralds, I had little, to no knowledge of the other writers. Initially, each story was difficult to follow, but as the characters became more familiar, the book moved along very nicely. It was a lovely introduction to the wit of Dorothy Parker.

Unbelievable tale of greed. Nice narration. Story was a bit redundant as each woman presented with radium poisoning, but each woman's story deserved to be heard.

Shedding light on a hidden Oklahoma tragedy

Intriguing story of the abuse of the Osage as well as highlighting the wisdom of Chief Bigheart in originally negotiating the allotment that brought prosperity and eventually tragedy to the Osage. Also an interesting history of the FBI and the dynamic of Hoover and his agents.

I had little knowledge of credit default swaps other than a documentary from 2010. It was enough to enjoy the movie but left me wanting to know more. I enjoyed the details in the book.
