Historia
Viv’s career with the renowned mercenary company Rackam’s Ravens isn’t going as planned. Wounded during the hunt for a powerful necromancer, she’s packed off against her will to recuperate in the sleepy beach town of Murk – so far from the action that she worries she’ll never be able to return to it. What’s a thwarted soldier of fortune to do? Spending her hours at a struggling bookshop in the company of its foul-mouthed proprietor is the last thing Viv would have predicted. Even though it may be exactly what she needs. Still, adventure isn’t far away.

Cozy fantasy, very delightful!

Love the style of these oddball character relations! I hope to see more of Viv!

Historia
Tamsyn Muir’s Gideon the Ninth unveils a solar system of swordplay, cut-throat politics, and lesbian necromancers. Her characters leap out of the audio, as skillfully animated as arcane revenants. The result is a heart-pounding epic science fantasy. Brought up by unfriendly, ossifying nuns, ancient retainers, and countless skeletons, Gideon is ready to abandon a life of servitude and an afterlife as a reanimated corpse.

Fun. Not art, very gory, but 100% fun.

I'm not sure why this was a scifi
Revisado: 12-28-20
Nobody uses guns and as far as locations go there's no real reason for it to be set in space. I loved some of the characters and the dialogue was really good, but the prose made it really hard to picture the actual locations, scenes and characters, and there were just too many characters to really keep track of. The voice performance was really good except for the male voices that all sorta blended together for me. All in all I didn't hate it but I don't think I'll read/listen to the rest, particularly because I really didn't like the ending. Gideon deserved to be in a better story.

Historia
When fifteen-year-old Eragon finds a polished blue stone in the forest, he thinks it is the lucky discovery of a poor farm boy. But when the stone brings a dragon hatchling, Eragon soon realizes he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself. Overnight his simple life is shattered, and, gifted with only an ancient sword, a loyal dragon, and sage advice from an old storyteller, Eragon is soon swept into a dangerous tapestry of magic, glory, and power. Now his choices could save—or destroy—the Empire.

Saphira's voice lacks dignity
Revisado: 11-21-15
The Yoda/Falkor approach doesn't work. Other than that I'm loving it and the other voices
