Historia
Malibu: August 1983. It’s the day of Nina Riva’s annual end-of-summer party, and anticipation is at a fever pitch. Everyone wants to be around the famous Rivas: Nina, the talented surfer and supermodel; brothers Jay and Hud, one a championship surfer, the other a renowned photographer; and their adored baby sister, Kit. Together the siblings are a source of fascination in Malibu and the world over—especially as the offspring of the legendary singer Mick Riva. The only person not looking forward to the party of the year is Nina herself.

Wonderful
Revisado: 07-17-21
I'm glad that I listened to this primarily while at home, because I had some seriously vocal reactions to some of the storyline. Either I was laughing or I was angrily smacking my hands on my thighs and yelling at the actions of the characters. I finished this book feeling satisfied and pleased with the ending.

Great book, needs a reference
Revisado: 03-31-21
I enjoyed this book, but it's full of recipes and crafts with numbered instructions. To be really useful, it needs a pdf reference or something similar. As it is, I ended up buying a hard copy of the book, so I could actually practice the self-care crafts and recipes.

Book was good...narration was better
Revisado: 10-24-20
I found this to be a very informative look at Paganism for a beginner. Additionally, the narrator made the material even more engaging and was a pleasure to listen to.

Amazing story...
Revisado: 05-10-19
Amazing story, but the sound production was strange. The voice of the narrator would often change mid-sentence. It wasn't so bad that it turned me off of the story, but it impacted how deeply immersed I was.
