Historia
The Phantom Prince chronicles Elizabeth Kendall’s intimate relationship with Ted Bundy and its eventual unraveling. As much as has been written about Bundy, it’s remarkable to hear the perspective of people who shared their daily lives with him for years. This gripping account presents a remarkable examination of a charismatic personality that masked unimaginable darkness.

interesting perspective
Revisado: 02-16-20
This was an interesting perspective but quite frustrating. She knew, atleast on some subconscious level, Ted was up to something. She was so insecure and easily manipulated by him it got frustrating to listen to. Not to mention law enforcement did nothing to help her insecurities by continuously blowing her off. I probably would have thought I was a bit crazy, too. The one thing I can't wrap my head around us continuing to stick around after repeated infidelity, once is enough. The narrators voice was a little too whiny, which got on my nerves.

Dissappointed
Revisado: 01-12-20
I had more empathy for this guy before I listened to this book. I'm utterly baffled that people are saying this is an inspiring story! He's totally self-serving and ego-stroking throughout the entire book. He is beyond selfish, hurting everyone in his destructive path. Bad choice after bad choice and continues to do so as he continues to justify his use of marijuana and alcohol. Obviously he gleened absolutely nothing from rehab, which he wouldn't even attend for his destroyed/heartbroken children, but for money. Pathetic.

Nothing new
Revisado: 11-21-19
The book was fine. There was a lot of media coverage on this story. I was hoping to glean intersting perspectives from Juan, but there was really nothing new. The narrators over enunciation really got on my nerves. It got to the point of wanting to scream every time I heard "Right?!"

Great book, aggravating narrator
Revisado: 09-23-19
The book was very good. I thought the narrator was terrible. Her impersonation of EVERY male voice was awful, making all of them sound like dumb bufoons.
