A very fast story and fun
Revisado: 04-29-25
The author is well-versed in psychic abilities, nuances, and history of an ability we all have if utilized. Her storyline is very fun fast paced and captures a young teenage audience to adult. I really enjoyed this author because of her knowledge that she adds to her storylines.

A day later she is found unconscious in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, in the midst of what seems to be an episode of dissociative fugue; when she comes to, she has no memory of what has happened to her.

Great Concept to Share with the Public
Revisado: 04-29-25
The narrators did a stellar job. Their nuances and cadence captured each of the characters very well.
The storyline is great. It delves into the larger aspect of reality which I feel we all should examine and explore. The author has obviously considered many concepts which are considered outside the normal realm of reality and placed into a great storyline. I would recommend this book.

Historia
The very strange but nevertheless true story of the dark underbelly of a 1960s hippie utopia. Laurel Canyon in the 1960s and early 1970s was a magical place where a dizzying array of musical artists congregated to create much of the music that provided the soundtrack to those turbulent times. But there was a dark side to that scene as well. Many didn't make it out alive, and many of those deaths remain shrouded in mystery to this day.

Well done!
Revisado: 02-05-25
I am one of those who believes that what we’ve been told isn’t necessarily the truth. I love and am impressed with the research on this and the straight fact giving. This to me is believable. Thank you so much to the author for his time and diligence for tracking down details that most of us don’t have the time to research. I highly recommend it if you are at all interested in the music scene of the 60s and 70s and how it has influenced where we are today.
I do believe though that there is an even darker element of the music scene today that most are not privy to. Being aware, diligent and discerning is essential.
I wish the author had had more time to write as I surely would have read them.

I really enjoyed this story. It’s well written, funny, obtuse, likable, and eminently relatable. On top of it the narrators are phenomenal. I felt like I was just in the middle of conversations. It was brilliant.

Love that throughout the entire story our protagonist always takes the high road by being a good honest and nice guy. What a refreshing concept in a world of drama and chaos.

Historia
It’s a beautiful day in Newport, Rhode Island, when Phoebe Stone arrives at the grand Cornwall Inn wearing a green dress and gold heels, not a bag in sight, alone. She's immediately mistaken by everyone in the lobby for one of the wedding people, but she’s actually the only guest at the Cornwall who isn’t here for the big event. Phoebe is here because she’s dreamed of coming for years—she hoped to shuck oysters and take sunset sails with her husband, only now she’s here without him, at rock bottom, and determined to have one last decadent splurge on herself.

Insightful View of an Old Story
Revisado: 05-08-24
I enjoyed the perspective of a young woman who rose to power in the midst of a very brutal time in history. All stories are written about the heroes yet few are seen through the eyes of individuals who are pawns in a vast chess match. Well done by both the author and the narrator. It was a very captivating story - tough, vengeful, courageous and alluring through the eyes of an unsung heroine.

I have known about Boudicca for some time however when I’ve mentioned her name most have never heard of her rebellion. Ravens approaches the story from many vantage points which in the end gives the reader a full circumference of the events which could’ve taken place.

Everyone Loves This: But Not for Me
Revisado: 04-14-24
The narrator has a lovely voice however there’s not a lot of change in emotion. The story I’m sure is compelling however it somewhat lost me. I would recommend it to those who enjoy a mystery combined with historical context.
