One of the best books I've read lately

There is so much good advice in this book, from every chapter you can extract a lot of words of wisdom. Unlike other books it's written in a direct way from the angle of someone who grew up in the streets. It made me think about a lot of situations in my life I could have handled better had I known what Curtis shared with us in this beautiful book.

Fantastic, great book!

Narrator was great! Made me laugh hard from time to time, made me realize some of the mistakes I've been making. This book is full of gems of wisdom. I have started applying the principles laid out in this book with my kids, at work and boy did it make a great difference!!!

Fantastic book - a lot can be learned from Arnold

This book was easy to listen to, interesting with lots of useful information. It's good that Arnold doesn't read the entire book - sometimes it's hard to understand every word he's saying, but he is emotional and a great narrator. The other guy is easier to understand, so the way they split the reading was perfect in my opinion.
I recommend to everybody: read this book and write down ideas that you find useful.

These are the words of Christopher Columbus - the record of his first voyage to America. His private journal from the trip was lost, but not before being studied and condensed by later writers like Spanish historian and Dominican friar Bartolomé de Las Casas, whose abridgement has been changed to first person perspective for this production (Columbus' actual words were often included by the friar). The result is a personal record of an enterprise which changed the whole face of history.

Excellent adventure, with lots of details about the voyage.
Mind that the footnotes are not being read, so one might miss a lot of info if not using a written copy aside.
The narration was great, with emotion and changes in intonation, making listening exciting. Spanish accent of the narator sounds authentic and gives character to the book. I would like to hear about the other voyages from the same narrator.
