Jesse's content is a real pleasure to take in through whatever medium you prefer. It's very approachable and understandable while obviously being based in research, science, and extensive experience. The great beauty of the book is that anyone can test out the breathing techniques to their preference and comfort levels. If you feel anxious, there's a breathing technique to help with that. If needing to focus ahead of a meeting, presentation, class, etc., there's a technique to help focus. If having trouble with sleep, a technique. You get the idea, and Jesse explains how it works and shares tips and advice that are useful even for someone like me, interested in breathing techniques but still the most novice of novices.

Besides that, the audio book is well-read by Chris Strong, who uses great inflection and tone in explaining even some of the most unique technical jargon and multicultural terminology I've read in a while. Really pleasant to listen to.

Finally, the audio book really enhances the great material from the book with a special final sections, which features guided breathwork sessions led by Jesse. These are perfect for anyone who is interested in going further to "dip a toe" in the practices and see if signing up for a workshop or further training is right for them. It's a great enhancement of a great book!
