Good story BAD narrator
Revisado: 07-25-07
It's a good book overall. What keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the reader. The author read the book and as is often the case he would have been better served to have brought in an experienced narrator. He constantly over pronounces T's. The hard T's are grating and make this good book a tough listen. While it is worth the listen it is very distracting.

Comedian Jim Norton is dirty...really dirty...the kind of dirty that makes The Aristocrats look like a knock-knock joke. Fortunately for him, his kind of dirty humor has earned him the distinction of being third microphone on the immensely popular Opie & Anthony syndicated radio show. In Happy Endings, Jim brings his raw, hilarious, and offensively honest comedy to Audible® listeners.

Funny but old O & A stories
Revisado: 07-22-07
I LOVE!!!! little Jimmy so I'm hesitant to write anything but a positive review. This is a funny book and you won't be dissapointed by it. That being said it was a lot of regurgitated stories from the O & A show. If your a fan however, this is not to be missed.
Happy birfday Jimmy!!!!! (I know how you like these !!)

Mob opens terrifying windows on the brutal and mysterious world of organized crime. You'll meet murderous wiseguys, scheming Dons and undercover agents risking their lives to break the Mob's most powerful syndicates. The picture that emerges from these stories is astoundingly complex and all too human: a world of warped desire and violent consequences that is at once shocking and fascinating.

Disjointed stories
Revisado: 06-17-07
This was not what I expected. It's just a bunch of disjointed stories from many books. Most of which are not very good. I would reccomend NOT getting this audiobook. The best story is from Wiseguy the Donnie Brasco book. But this short excerpt doesn't save this audiobook. It just makes me want to get Wiseguy.

Your child shouts, "You can't make me" or "I hate you" or "I don't want to". Behind the angry words, what is the child really saying? David and Claudia Arp, based on a survey conducted in the United States and Europe, have identified the eight most common "cries" of the spirited, or strong-willed child.

Be Careful lots of religion not much help
Revisado: 07-18-05
I ended up getting a lot of regurgitated psycho babel from other authors with a lot of scripture thrown in. This was not what I needed nor what I thought I was buying. I will be asking for a refund. The authors decided to read it themselves and would have been better off having professionals do it instead. To say they are painful to listen to is an understatement but had the content at least been worthwhile I would not have complained. They cannot pronounce the words that they wrote and it was a struggle to listen to in this regard alone. After trying for two weeks I have finally made it through the whole thing and to say that I am disappointed is an understatement. If you are looking for generalities but no real answers with a lot of bible thumping then this may be for you. I was looking for real help. Not all the answers just a starting point with some real world working solutions. What I got was preached to and told to keep prayer journals and no real advice. This was a complete waste of time.

Not great
Revisado: 12-02-04
Get Al Frankens Lies, and the lying liers who tell them. Much better satire with debunking of many lies the right tells. But told in an extremly funny way. I love the daily show and was looking forward to hearing this. Unfortunatly it doesn't live up to my expectation even remotely. Not bad just not great.
