This is a compelling and thoughtful memoir detailing the journey from adolescence to a stunning realization and from victimhood to advocate. Additionally, the book is well written and the naration inhances the poignancy of the story; it gives me hope for a better future with more inclusion and bodily autonomy for all persons. I stayed up late to finish this story.

A kick ass advocate!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The stories were disturbing at times but it was refreshing to hear how she fights back on behalf of her clients and interesting to learn how she became an advocate. In my eyes, she is a true superhero.
