This story spans literal years with so many connected parts and yet there are surprises around each one. The angst and love Levi and Sav feel for each other was conveyed and at times I was left with the same aggravation the characters must have been feeling. The dialogue was realistic and the word of the day is adorable. Spice level was great, a little possessiveness but not overdone at all. It fit well with the characters and their journey. Angelina Rocca and Jacob Morgan are phenomenal is this, they played well off each other and their voices acted out the different character really well. Angelina was meant to play a rockstar. Also kudos to the production, it sounded like characters were actually together and not in separate rooms.

Not only is this a multi layered story with angst, character growth and spice, the ensemble cast of narrators is top tier. The action is detailed and while post apocalyptic, the love and romance still shine. This ends on a cliff hanger with a surprise narrator introduced.

What an amazing story! It’s beautiful and complicated story of MM love, finding and fighting for each other while still allowing for growth between the characters. I laughed, cried and there is some
🌶️🌶️🌶️. Check your trigger warnings although the authors quick intro and then addendum explain her thought process and ultimate necessity for the words chosen. Joe and Jacob compliment each other so well. Both execute a British accent and imitate each other to a level rarely heard in an audiobook. I hope there are more collaborations between these 2 amazing performers.

The characters fit well together. The Insta attraction seemed more genuine then I’ve listened to in other books. There was a bit of repetition in the descriptions and word choice but overall I liked the story. Andi and Joe are amazing as always.

The depth of story in this series (it’s going to be a trilogy!) is incredible. Trishe weaves psychological, the occult, love, sex, crazy, emotion and action into a well written story. It’s more than a dark romance, it’s all consuming possession with a hero angle thrown it. I loved it. Joe and Lucy are top notch, they pair together beautifully.

From the male character description, I expected more of him being a bad ass then he was, which was only to his employees so it kind made him just look like a jerk. And then he’s a marshmallow for the FMC. And while I understand she had a traumatic childhood, it was overdone and made the plot twist seem lacking. It felt like more could have been done with the character and they didn’t feel true to their parts. Joe and Maxine together are great. I loved their narration together.

Overall the story felt ok for me and seemed to drag on in parts. How many shopping trips did she need to make and the descriptions went on and on and didn’t really drive the plot on. It’s not often I speed a book up but I didn’t this on several occasions through the story. The age gap can be cringy for some and while not my favorite trope, at least he “waited” till she was old enough. Joe was amazing as always. And Lexi was ok for me- her voice sounded too young and it was when she was narrating that I sped it up the most. Also there is a lot more of Lexi in the book with Joe here and there till the end.

I really enjoyed Preist, I liked Sinner more but I adored Saint. And while the outcome can be predicted based on the previous 2 books, the emotional journey both characters travel is worth the time. While it’s mostly about Aiden, there is a redemption arc or a coming to terms for Elijah that brings a greater understanding to him as well. And the imagery of their travels is beautiful. *****spoiler******

Also, chapter 47- the description of depression and unaliving tendencies is one of the most well written without being graphic and overt. It’s described it a way so relatable and gives a better understanding to depression etc then I have experienced before.

Jacob is phenomenal as always and I enjoyed hearing Elijah’s voice through Sean. He was a new narrator for me and I was not disappointed.

This is well written and so much more than a love story. The discussions of religion, faith, inequality of wealth, and racism are interwoven as important threads in the story and not some side piece. I loved hearing Sean and Zenny’s story. Jacob is wonderful as always, he brings so much emotion to his work without being overly emotional about it. And Morse was great too. I highly recommend this book.

I really liked the overall story. The backstory and the why the MMC becomes a priest is talked about but not dwelled upon and I wish the ending would have a bit more engagement with that supporting characters. But overall well done. The intersection of faith, religion and sex I found intriguing! (although I understand why some find it upsetting for their religion.) There is some 🌶️🌶️🌶️! Check the trigger warnings! Jacob Morgan did a great job voice acting does 90% of the book while the Elena only does a couple of parts when her character is in the confessional.
