It is a joy to find a suspense book with Christian beliefs. I will be honest that I have never read or listened to any of Dee Henderson. I truly enjoy the flow of the story, the suspense, and the clean romance. Dee Henderson, you have become one of my favorite authors. I am looking forward to the other books in this series. I will be looking forward to buying books and ebooks and of course listening to the story on Audible.

The two main characters seemed equals and well balanced. The progressive act that change everything including being the head a whole department store. I think that we as women take for granted what it used to be like and how far we have come.

Unconditional love
Revisado: 12-15-24
It was a very emotional listen. Kinda reminding me that only God can be your God. That all the pain that you have has to be surrendered to God to be released and have hope. This story touched me in such a way that I wanted to cry feeling the pain that Angel has and how she beat herself for the past and the redemption that took place that only came from surrendering. Thank you, Francine Rivers being a follower of Christ, for writing such a blessing to everyone that should be able to read or listen.

I really liked the story line regarding the time travel related to the sunset (Golden Hour) and the sunrise (Silver Hour). There so many twist and turns that you got caught up in that you almost forgot what was the purpose that the children were traveling for in the first place. Absolutely marvelous!

Revisado: 12-06-22
I have listened to other books that were written by Nick. He is a role model for people to change from being weak by other people's hurts and negative habits to being someone that is strong and willing to help others. This book was very emotional to me and has helped me that there is hope to overcome adversity in my life. Thank you Nick and I love you .

At one time, Corrie ten Boom would have laughed at the idea that she had a story to tell. For the first 50 years of her life, nothing out of the ordinary ever happened to her. She was a spinster watchmaker living contentedly with her sister and their elderly father in the tiny house over their shop in Haarlem. Their uneventful days, as regulated as their own watches, revolved around their abiding love for one another. But with the Nazi invasion and occupation of Holland, everything changed....
