Perfect whirlwind romance

This is a beautifully written whirlwind romance with two love able characters. Everything happens very quickly but everything that takes place felt real and very justified. Dean and Fitz’ love Story was incredibly sweet but it was coupled with plenty of light hearted humor to keep it from being too mushy. I was very impressed with the production of this audiobook and it felt almost like I was watching a movie. I honestly truly love Shane East and Joe Arden, they are definitely my go to narrators but since love them even more after reading this book. I truly enjoyed the extra bonus features at the end as well.

I was, and I am, a huge fan of the Hot-holes Series. So when I saw that there was a spinoff series about the “Totholes”, a.k.a. children of the Hot holes, I was very excited. L.J Shen did not disappoint. She’s brilliant and hilarious, her writing nothing short of magic! Daria and Penn’s story is everything I could have hoped for; it was beautiful, full of amazing but flawed people, heart wrenching suspenseful and steamy! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!

I was also very happy to catch up on Jamie and Melody’s life and see them as parents/adults! Daria is not perfect but perfect is boring, and I love how the author peeled off the layer one at a time letting us into Daria’s world and helping us truly understand her character development!

I do recommend that you read the Hot Holes series first before getting into the spinoff series just because I feel like you would have a better understanding of the backstory of the parents and also just because the books in that series are amazing. If nothing else I would read Defy before reading this book.

Emotional Rollercoaster ___ IN THE BEST WAY

I am at a loss for words. It has everything I love.: Epic romance with a sexy Alpha male and a strong and lovable love interest topped with unbelievably steamy scenes. The twists and turns were unexpected and surprising. The narrators captured the emotions perfectly. I am an avid Romance reader and this book is definitely in my top 5.

Fabulous AND Not for the Faint Hearted!

Absolutely loved this book! Amazing story line and lots of suspense! Michael and Rica’ story is intriguing, different and fully developed. I will say it’s very dark and may not be for everybody. There were times when I was very worried and felt like maybe Michael may be unredeemable. But I loved it. I love exploring characters who don’t necessarily live in my world or do things I wouldn’t do. There are a lot of steamy scenes and one in particular that made me gasp in shock in the middle a crowded restaurant. Haha Narration was excellent! I love Jeremy York and Tatianna does Male voices so well! Penelope Douglas is such a talented author. Also check out birthday Girl... my all time favorite by this author.

Loved it!

I loved hearing the story from Jared‘s point of you. It definitely is not a retelling of the first book but gives the audience a whole new perspective and it makes you appreciate the story of Jared and Tate a whole lot more. The narration is amazing. I definitely recommend reading book One first. I love Penelope Douglas. She is one talented writer.

I loooooove this book Must Listen

I finished this book in two days because I couldn’t get enough. Pike and Jordan’s story is so absolutely amazing I just don’t have enough words to describe it! It’s an absolutely intriguing plot line and you can’t help but love and care for the characters. I deeply felt for the characters and laughed out loud several times at the witty banter between the characters. I am also going to buy the book for my shelf.

The narration was amazing a well. I have never been this disappointed for a story to end. Penelope Douglas is a genius and so talented and I am so happy for this beautiful story and world she created. Must listen.

Splendid story by a truly talented narrator

The story is captivating from the very begging. A beautiful love story full of suspense and excitement. The narrator is absolutely amazing bringing each character and each scene come alive for the listener.
