There wasn't a lot new in this book that you wouldn't pickup in Freakenomics, but the fellas over there don't have such a hard liberal slant. A lot of the problems she complained about can be fixed by simply following the law. I'm hoping the author continues to work harder in the future.

Not much for mountain climbing, but I loved every minute of this read. I was unfamiliar with the story since it occurred 10 years before my birth. I stuck with every minute. Thanks for taking the time to do the work author Andy Hall.

What a wimp. He needs a hug or more testosterone.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

No, If you are in to cycling go read another book. If you expect this book to get juicy and really dive into doping then you will disappointed. Mr Tilin doesn't dope, he just takes normal prescriptions for his low testosterone levels. With the way this guy explains his life it seems like he has always been low on T. He behavior while on T just seem to be normal male behavior and don't really warrant a book with a great tittle.

What could Andrew Tilin have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Go beyond bringing his testosterone to normal numbers. I expected him to cross the line and live it up for the sake of a book.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Been a better cheater and told a story of what it was like for all the real cyclist get themselves into.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A man without a pair lives a year of his life like the average man.

Would you listen to Freakonomics again? Why?

This book steps far away from boring numbers that are classically related to economics. I liked the way the authors looked at things in a different light and gave purpose to the end result of what they were studying.

"Obama's Marketing Plan" would be more fitting.

I wanted this book to turn around and get to real world examples. The author could not get away from the Obama campaign. it was a good try but not worth my money.
