Now I'm Hooked!

I am surprised by how much I came to enjoy this story. It is unlike anything I have read before. The story of a young woman who finds her life turning upside down in surprising, confusing, often frightening and overwhelming ways. Yet, she finds her way through triumphantly. She learns to discern between those she can truly trust, and those who put up a good facade while trying to use her, or worse.
There is the beginning of Christian outlook in this story which I hope to see more fully developed as the series continues.

Oh What A Wonderful Adventure!

A charming and wonderful adventure that both children and adults will treasure. I was a little uncertain of the choice of narrator at the beginning but shortly realized she was the perfect choice indeed. I am looking forward to the future adventures of the three total children and their batty aunt. This could turn into a wonderful series, and I hope it does!

Great Story!

This was my very first Audible book and at first I was not sure I was going to like listening rather than reading, but the story coupled with the narration pulled me right in! Ms Winder's characters are believable, and they have depth. I enjoyed meeting them, and would happily read more of their story if this became a series. Life on the island took a bright turn, and the future of all of its residents, particularly the young ones, has been forever changed.
WAIT A MINUTE! I just now saw that this IS a series! I'm jumping in with both feet!
