Historia
On the evening of Sofia Claremont's seventeenth birthday, she is sucked into a nightmare from which she cannot wake. A quiet evening walk along a beach brings her face to face with a dangerous pale creature that craves much more than her blood. She is kidnapped to The Shade, an enchanted island where the sun is eternally forbidden to shine. An island uncharted by any map and ruled by the most powerful vampire coven on the planet. She wakes here as a slave, a captive in chains.

Stinky Garbage
Revisado: 05-10-19
It wasn't even a guilty pleasure read. I would have DNF the thing, but it was super short and I have a book goal at the moment. Seriously, Do not buy if you are the type of person who dislikes Twilight. Flat characters and most of the book felt like exposition. I get that it's a series starter, but books should be able to stand on there own.

Historia
For as long as she can remember, twelve-year-old Emily Windsnap has lived on a boat. And, oddly enough, for just as long, her mother has seemed anxious to keep her away from the water. But when Mom finally agrees to let her take swimming lessons, Emily makes a startling discovery - about her own identity, the mysterious father she's never met, and the thrilling possibilities and perils shimmering deep below the water's surface. With a sure sense of suspense and richly imaginative details, first-time author Liz Kessler lures us into a glorious undersea world....

I'm mad at it.

Children deserve an actual effort when it comes to books and reading books. I couldn't tell you about the story because listening was painful. It's very badly read.

Historia
Nineteen-year-old Greg Sestero met Tommy Wiseau at an acting school in San Francisco. Wiseau's scenes were rivetingly wrong, yet Sestero, hypnotized by such uninhibited acting, thought, "I have to do a scene with this guy." That impulse changed both of their lives. The Disaster Artist is Greg Sestero's laugh-out-loud funny account of how Tommy Wiseau defied every law of artistry, business, and friendship to make "the Citizen Kane of bad movies" ( Entertainment Weekly), which is now an international phenomenon.

This is his movie. This is also his life.
Revisado: 01-03-18
A tale of artistic ambition and dreams which manages to be funny, moving, tragic, and even a little inspiring.
It is also the tale of a friendship between two men that moves from unconventional into patterns of abuse and manipulation. There is genuine moments of vulnerability and emotional closeness between these two aspiring artists that ultimately becomes venom.
Yet for as cruel and manipulative, and even petty as Wiseau appears in this story, he still has moments where it's impossible to not feel sympathy for him.
A fascinating story about friendship and the foolish dream to create that is inspiring yet bittersweet, and ultimately, an honest story.
