Historia
Zachary Ezra Rawlins is a graduate student in Vermont when he discovers a mysterious book hidden in the stacks. As he turns the pages, entranced by tales of lovelorn prisoners, key collectors, and nameless acolytes, he reads something strange: a story from his own childhood. Bewildered by this inexplicable book and desperate to make sense of how his own life came to be recorded, Zachary uncovers a series of clues - a bee, a key, and a sword.

Just Open the Door!
Revisado: 06-05-23
This book is for those who are willing to travel on a starless sea, in the dark caverns of imagination, and in the unknown hallways of dimly lit stories. Finding your way through the twists and turns will be frustrating for anyone not ready to swim through the viscous honey and anyone with anticipation of well schooled telling.
This is what I loved about the book. It seems to be a traditional hero’s journey, but told through an amalgamation of classic images. It demands both being erudite and at the same time laughs at the arrogance of the literate.
It “opens doors” and some will appreciate the journey and some will only be waiting for the destination.
I was engrossed in all of the sensual images, textures and light.
Thank you for taking me away.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Challenge your thinking!
Revisado: 09-22-21
I loved how Lent curated all the philosophies of the world to help us make sense of the chaos we are facing. In spite of the overwhelming challenges we face, he sees a “Web of Meaning” for a way forward.

Historia
The 1968 US presidential election was the young Lawrence O'Donnell's political awakening, and in the decades since it has remained one of his abiding fascinations. For years he has deployed one of America's shrewdest political minds to understanding its dynamics, not just because it is fascinating in itself but because in it is contained the essence of what makes America different and how we got to where we are now.

The thriller with the best known ending!
Revisado: 06-02-18
This was one of my favorite books. I lived through every moment yet still found the writing to be edge of your seat gripping. I could not stop listening. O'Donnell is able to connect the dots for those of us who may have been to young or naive to appreciate the manipulations of the powerful in the new era of political maneuvering. I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in understanding the drama of politics and the psychology of the players involved.
