Pride and Prejudice is a romantic novel of manners written by Jane Austen in 1813. The novel follows the character development of Elizabeth Bennet, the dynamic protagonist of the book who learns about the repercussions of hasty judgments and comes to appreciate the difference between superficial goodness and actual goodness. Its humour lies in its honest depiction of manners, education, marriage, and money during the Regency era in Great Britain.

Jane Austen deserves all the credit for this novel, so enjoyable, such depth, but the narrator enhances the work to a wonderful degree. The combination is thoroughly enjoyable and well worth experiencing.

the irreverent humor is priceless, the bigger than life characters of Armstrong and Lady Hardcastle are outrageously delightful and yet believable, the bantering dialogue is superb and a gift to the reader.

worth ones time.
Revisado: 11-05-21
the authors have created a fun, charming American character with a distinct personality who is engaging and believable. The narrator brings him beautifully to life with a passable, for a Brit, New York accent. Unlike other British authors who disasterously attempt American characters these gentlemen have nailed it! I love this series! Definitely cozy, definitely charming, clever and well done from beginning to end! Thank you.
