The MULTIPLE sentence restarts, the occasional cough, the author/narrator’s chuckles at his own words are HIGHLY distracting, as are the background sounds of shuffling pages. It listens like a “first-take”, or grossly unedited product. The story is magnificent, the performance is unprofessional and not what I expect for a product I purchased. Buy the book, skip the audiobook.

For ANY pilot, historian, or leader…A flying history with graphic descriptions as he lived them from the cockpit, weaving through historical conflicts, and completing a portrait of a true leader guided by doing what was right, even when at odds with the rules. How can I unlock a six-star rating? Excellent book, I was immersed.
