Narration carried this awesome story!
Revisado: 01-27-25
This was a fun ride and I can see plenty of amine references. At certain points, it felt like I was listening to one. However, the best part was easily the narration. Nathan absolutely killed (in a good way) it. I love how he did each voice and gave the characters their own personality. I can respect any author who can narrate their own book and do it well.
As for the story, it's jumps from the past to the future. However, the battle scenes are where the story really shines. I found myself cheering for the good guys like a little kid watching Pokemon back in the day. Overall, this was a fun ride and I can't wait for the next!

It's Bamtastic!
Revisado: 03-19-21
This listen was Bamtastic or should I say fantastic. I love how the book starts ten years after the zombie virus was unleashed. The narrator is S.W. Salzman and he is known to be great with zombie horror. He totally kills it here, in a good way. There is plenty of profanity but that makes the story more authentic. One can tell that Allen was in the armed forces. This was my first audiobook from Allen Gamboa and it won't be my last. Well done and the narrator did a great job with the different accents.

A great horror listen!!!
Revisado: 02-20-21
I read the e-book when it released. I'm a lover of horror and this fell right into my wheelhouse. While the story is great, the narration is top notch. The voice of Blair took the cake. I can tell is Anneliese or at least I believe so lol. The MC has to come up with creative ways to escape different scenarios and the game mechanics are well thought out. This story has the feeling of a horror movie set in the 80s or the early 90s. I can tell that Ray really loves horror. Well done. I can't wait for the next book!

An Excellent Listen!
Revisado: 01-19-21
This is a great listen. I like how the author was able to mix the world of LitRPG with the world of MMA fighting. Not something you see everyday. The narrators were also A+ and I thought they captured the characters well. I look forward to listening to book two. Well done!

A great fantasy read, even better on audio
Revisado: 10-02-19
I had the honor to read this book and I enjoyed it. Then I decided to try it on audio. I'm not big on audiobooks but never the less I decided to give it a go. The narrator did a great job enhancing the story. I look forward to more from Aaron Bunce and the narrator.
