Historia
Jason and his companions managed to forestall the inexorable undead, but their battle is far from done. Both they and their enemies are scattered across a strange realm, one that someone must conquer if anyone is to get out alive. Territory by territory, factions fight to reunite their people and conquer the realm. Jason must contend with alliances he doesn’t want, friends he cannot find, and enemies ranging from angelic despots to the power of an undead god. He must face a realm that has been warped by his own mind and find a way to save a friend whose sacrifice got them this far.

Historia
Sebastian Frost’s most recent memory was waking up in a field naked, in a body that wasn’t his own, in a world that definitely wasn’t his own, and three stunning pointy-eared women staring right at him. He also remembered hair as white as starlight, eyes like amethysts, and the name Shalia. Fortunately, it was the right name to know. Shalia was the elves’ goddess, and that made him her herald.

holy....
Revisado: 05-17-24
I didn't expect how good this would be. Absolutely top tier. Even if you remove all the smut, it's a good lit RPG with some really interesting characters. the plot is believable and the magic/skill system is well thought out and very extensible for later stories, giving new characters the freedom to have an endless array of specializations.
That said, the smut scenes and the VAs were just top notch. As a straight guy, the women voicing the smut descriptions was absolutely a necessity and perfect with the male VA only jumping in for male voices/sounds. Also, the descriptions of acts were varied and detailed.

Historia
Five years ago Corin Cadence's brother entered the Serpent Spire - a colossal tower with ever-shifting rooms, traps, and monsters. Those who survive the spire's trials return home with an attunement: a mark granting the bearer magical powers. According to legend, those few who reach the top of the tower will be granted a boon by the spire's goddess. He never returned. Now it's Corin's turn. He's headed to the top floor, on a mission to meet the goddess.

plot extra forced and annoying stupid mc
Revisado: 04-30-24
The way the plot moves forward constantly made me have to stop and think, "why is anyone sharing this information with the MC?" "why is he even here and allowed to participate?" "how does he have such a large ego and big dreams with such low skill?"
nothing really felt like it made sense and things just kept moving forward with the MC just because. he was extremely awkward and couldn't understand people until the plot demanded it and then he was a charismatic Sherlock Holmes or something.
I made it all the way to about 3 hours remaining and I couldn't take it anymore as more and more people just kept expositing their secrets all over the MC for no real reason at all.

Historia
I didn't want to be worshiped like some deity—an instant replacement for the asuras. For so long, these people looked up to the asuras as gods, but the asuras kept trying to kill them. Arthur Leywin has finally returned to the continent of Dicathen, but his home is still firmly in the hands of the enemy. His display of unprecedented power brings hope to his allies and fear to his enemies. It also deeply embroils him in a conflict between the godlike asuras, with Agrona Vritra on one side and Kezess Indrath on the other.

great story with weird, jarring dual narration
Revisado: 04-09-24
another banger for one of the best series out there.
Only problem being the unfathomable decision to have 2 narrators do the same voices. originally when I saw the cast, I was excited. I thought, maybe this is like those full cast readings where Travis does the men and this new Elizabeth does the women. But no...it's this strange thing where depending on if it's a man or woman's perspective for the chapter, they read the whole chapter.
This was almost fine except that it means they both still read for all characters in the chapter meaning nearly every character now has 2 voices in the book! It's super jarring and honestly Elizabeth doesn't have the range or feeling as the 9 books we've had of Travis. Everyone who had some spice in their voice with Travis, like Mica and Gideon... completely flat with Elizabeth reading. Hope they never do this again.
