Historia
Erin is about to marry the love of her life. She and Simon have been together for eight years so it feels right that they’re finally tying the knot. It’s been stressful balancing the demands of friends and family – not to mention Simon’s difficult best man, Gil – but Erin couldn’t be happier. Couldn’t be happier, that is, until she walks down the aisle and finds the wrong man waiting for her. But is the universe playing a cruel trick on Erin, or could it be that her perfect life isn’t quite what she imagined. . .?

The slowest of slow burns, but I loved it nonetheless. I loved the story line, even though it was confusing for awhile. Erin's growth throughout the book was enjoyable to read. I loved the other characters as well, especially Gil!

If you would have told a young John Stamos flipping burgers at his dad’s fast-food joint that one day he’d be a household name and that, at the height of his success, he’d be living alone, divorced, with no kids, high on a cocktail of forgetting, he might’ve asked, “You want fries with that?”

John Stamos seems like such a nice guy. I have the kindle and audible version and went back and forth with both versions. I loved Full House and Fuller House and am currently following Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber on their podcast, "How Rude, Tanneritos!" That whole crew seems like a real family of wholesome people. When I heard John on their podcast, I immediately knew I had to read his book. He seems like he would be the best friend to have. So down to earth and very kind. I loved this book.

Historia
A heartwarming, uplifting village romance for fans of Holly Martin, Tilly Tennant and Cathy Bramley. Buying a thatched cottage in the country may not be the usual cure for a broken heart. But after Clara Maxwell finds out her boyfriend and best friend have been sneaking around behind her back, packing her bags and leaving everything in London behind feels like it's the only way forward. When Henry Garnett, her (rather handsome) new contractor, turns up with his little daughter Pansy and a van shaped like a cottage in tow, she isn't sure whether to laugh or cry.

I loved this book so much. I thought it would be a quick, fun read. It was so much more than that. I fell in love with the characters and really felt like I was in the little village of Merryknowe! I laughed and cried often. Francesca Waite is a wonderful narrator. I could listen to her read to me all day!

Yikes. What a story! Although I understand the bad reviews, I couldn't stop reading this book. I didn't like any of the main characters, but it sucked me in. About halfway through, I knew I had to finish today. The twists and turns of this one had me guessing. I will definitely be reaching for more of John Marr's books.

Historia
It's 1999, and Eira Hart and Ru Tattersall are set up to co-host The Lonely Harts Club, a new late-night radio show to help New Yorkers find love. It's a last chance attempt for both Eira, expert in Celtic mythology and amateur Welsh matchmaker, and Ru, once-hot-shot Aussie DJ, to achieve their New York dreams. The thing is, you either click with a co-host, or you don’t. It’s a bit like falling in love. There’s co-host chemistry, or there isn’t. With the countdown to a new millennium, it feels like the world as they know it is about to end.

Xander Corey lives simply, sustainably, on the outskirts of Osprey, a small, quaint town in Upstate New York. He’s a librarian when the town’s budget can afford him, a good friend, kind neighbor, and also, a witch. And while that’s of no concern to anyone around him, there are others, non-humans, who have a vested interest in Xander’s family land. Xander knows something dark and dangerous is brewing. He’s just not quite sure what.

Historia
When a young man is found gruesomely murdered in a London houseboat, it triggers questions about three women who knew him. Laura is the troubled one-night-stand last seen in the victim’s home. Carla is his grief-stricken aunt, already mourning the recent death of yet another family member. And Miriam is the nosy neighbor clearly keeping secrets from the police. Three women with separate connections to the victim. Three women who are – for different reasons – simmering with resentment. Who are, whether they know it or not, burning to right the wrongs done to them.

It's hard to decide between 3 and 4 stars for this book. If I would have liked any of the main characters, I would have rated this 5 stars. It is very convoluted, but it kept me entertained. Rosamond Pike was a fantastic narrator.

The setting is the Georgia wilderness, where the state's most remote white-water river awaits. The beginning of this book was a little tough and irritating to get through. I, thankfully, didn't have to experience being a wife that was subservient to her husband. I do remember my mother doing some of these things. I am glad marriage is different now.
Ruth is a wonderful character. I really enjoyed this story and especially enjoyed watching her relationship with her mother-in-law.

This is such a great series. Tungdil and his companions didn't disappoint me. I was nervous after how much I loved the first book, this wouldn't be as good. I'm glad to be wrong. It is an excellent story and I loved it as much as I did the first.
