Historia
The gold-mining town of Red Light, Montana is the kind of backwater hole less famous for the folks that live there than the ones who die there - like Janey Jensen, Smoke Jensen's sister. Smoke never would have gone there if it hadn't been for her estate. But that isn't the only thing the Mountain Man's got to settle. There's also the score between him and Major Cosgrove. The man who owns Red Light - lock, stock and barrel - is six feet of trouble looking for somebody like Smoke to bring out the worst in him.

A good guy with family values. Traditional western, just right for me. I grew up loving the West.

Compelling listening
Revisado: 11-04-22
Of course I’ve seen the movie! At least twice. The book is a little different, much longer, not necessarily better than the movie script in my opinion. I enjoyed it very much. I almost didn’t buy this one. Someone gave the reader quite a bad review. I thought he was great. I’ve listened to Many audibles. The readers can make all the difference in the enjoyment. Thanks

Good wilderness mystery
Revisado: 02-17-22
The rugged river setting was beautifully described. However, almost too many characters were involved. The main ones were likable and easy to champion. Lots of rough stuff going on.

Delightful short story
Revisado: 09-09-21
I enjoyed the play format. It was very descriptive of the people and countryside. This would be especially fun to listen to near the Christmas season.
