Revisado: 07-31-21
Highly recommend any and all who want or need to know more about the Middle Earth story. This and the Silmarillion are must reads for Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings fans. If your reading this then you’ve likely read other books by Tolkien so prepare yourself for some dry chapters but brace yourself for all the very interesting lore you will learn. Be patient because some of the best info came towards the end with Gandalf’s extra lore & the palantir, and naturally the chapter of Galadriel & Celeborn was a joy as well.

Hold on, it gets better.
Revisado: 01-06-21
The beginning or first half I struggled with, there were no answers and continuously produced mysteries that made no sense. Suddenly a chapter began and I couldn’t get enough, answers poured in and deep lore was like rapid fire. In the end I very much enjoyed the novel and recommend it to any Halo fan who wants to know more about the Forerunners, Promethians, Flood, or in general some backstory to the 4th game.

Into this world comes Tuor, cousin of Túrin, and guided unseen by Ulmo he sets out on the fearful journey to Gondolin to warn them of their coming doom.

Good
Revisado: 09-15-20
I enjoyed the book. However I have read many of the other Dragonlance tales and this was it, finally I was going to learn the in’s and out’s of the great magi Raistlin Majere and his grueling and highly referenced & renowned Test of the Tower of High Sorcery. I’m very disappointed with the test and the occurrences of the Tower. All of the story leading up to the test was relatively interesting and kept my interest, but the Test I found to be critically disappointing.
If you wish to know the origin story of Raistlin & Caramon + the Dragonlance group this is a good tale, I hope you enjoy the end more than I.

Historia
A posthumous recipient of the World Fantasy Award for Lifetime Achievement, Marion Zimmer Bradley reinvented - and rejuvenated - the King Arthur mythos with her extraordinary Mists of Avalon series. In this epic work, Bradley follows the arc of the timeless tale from the perspective of its previously marginalized female characters: Celtic priestess Morgaine, Gwenhwyfar, and High Priestess Viviane.

Very well done
Revisado: 08-26-20
For those who enjoy historical fictions, want to know if the story of Excalibur or who wish to know more of Arthurian lore then is a wonderful read. Told from the females point of view through the eyes of Morgaine it tells of the origin of King Arthur’s birth, the gathering of the knight of the round table and their fight against the Saxon’s and many more.
It also is very powerful for ladies due to the main character being a strong woman and learning much of the power of the Goddess. Also it’s very intriguing to read as a male, to get a very strong (however old world it may be) view into how women perceive, react, and comprehend matters for the better.
It’s also fascinating for those who take their part in Druidism/naturalism, what ever ones wishes to call it. Powerfully it depicts the strife of religion and how detrimental or influential it can be in the minds & hands of the ignorant or enlightened.
The narration I enjoyed a great deal, she did a wonderful job of depicting the difference between man & woman, young or old, leader or peasant.
Well done all around.
P.S. Not for the faint of heart or the young, there is a short rape scene described.

Very well done, Scott Brick has improved immensely from his reading of “Dawn of the Aspects” and the story very intriguing. From the investigation into murders in Darnassus, the political summit to the dire battles of Ashenvale held interest. My singular and only gripe was the pronunciation of Tyrande’s name xP
I’d recommend this to any WoW fan.

Revisado: 07-11-20
Iv read the chronicles volumes I, II & III and was very excited to get the full story of the Aspects Origins. Also read the War of the Ancients and loved it but this was not nearly as entertaining as the others. The narrator put FAR to much exaggeration and drama in even the smallest and simplest of matters which would almost put me to sleep since the dramatic parts sounded exactly like the casual moments. And it seemed as if Knaak really struggled to get the ball rolling with the story but once we got into the meat and potatoes of it the story definitely picked up.
If your not already a fan of the lore don’t bother with this book until you know much more of the Warcraft tale, if you are already a well read/played fan then yes, it was entertaining but perhaps read it in a paper back.

A fantastic story for those who already know the Warcraft tale or at least its characters. For those who start with this tome you will struggle and much won’t be fully understood.
For us who know the story this is fantastic insight into the mind and trepidation’s of the our Lord Illidan.
The narration was also very fitting, Graeme Malcolm’s voice is a natural fit for this tale.
