Historia
With the summer days getting shorter in the seaside village of Nairn, the annual bagpiping competition at Ramsey Castle promises to be quite the end-of-season blowout. Paisley has snagged a special invitation from the dowager countess, who wants to showcase her cashmere goods in the castle gift shop, and she's brought her son Brody, Grandpa, and their black Scottish terrier Wallace.

Enjoyed plot of the book, very easy listen. The narrator was excellent and very well modulated in her speech.

interesting story but doesn't do a great job if hooking the reader into the sustainability aspect.

Resilience of sheep and humans
Revisado: 03-14-24
The book was well written and very enjoyably read by the Author. I appreciated how Jane persevered through obstacles, very inspiring. Unfortunately Audible did not include the PDF so I am left wondering about yarn sources😠

Historia
Judith Hampton was as beautiful as she was proud and loyal. Her dear Scottish friend from childhood was about to give birth, and Judith had promised to be at her side. But there was another reason for the journey from her bleak English home to the Highlands: to meet the father she had never known, the Laird Maclean. Nothing prepared her, however, for the sight of the Scottish barbarian who was to escort her into his land...Iain Maitland, laird of his clan, a man more powerfully compelling than any she had ever encountered.

The worst narrator even!

If the story was not interesting- I would have returned the book. The male characters were always strained
