When your child reveals that he or she is attracted to the same sex, how you respond may have a lot to do with your faith. Doesn't the Bible say that's wrong? Will we have to leave our church? Worst of all, you may wonder, "Do I have to choose between my Christian faith and my child?" Susan Cottrell is a mom who has been there and wants you to know that loving and accepting your gay child does not mean abandoning or even compromising your faith.

Would not recommend this book

This book is written from the view point that God does not condemn homosexuality and that listening for what he tells us as individuals trumps what is said in God's word. The leading of the Holy Spirit never ever contradicts scripture. Very disappointed with the biblical content or lack thereof. I would not recommend this book.

This book does not discuss what is behind the mystery of prayer or how it works. The author talks a lot about prayer, but does not go into detail about prayer itself. disappointing overall.
