Not designed for Audio

This should only be in book form. The answers to the questions are somewhere towards the end of the book, not after the question which is frustrating while driving and listening. A lot of filler time in the book acknowledging dates and writers when this could have been done at the end of the book. Save your money.

Historia
When Robin Ellacott opens an unexpected delivery, she is horrified to discover that it contains a woman's severed leg. Her boss, private detective Cormoran Strike, is less surprised but just as alarmed. He suspects that four people from his past could be responsible - and any one of them is capable of sustained and unspeakable brutality. With the police focusing on the one suspect Strike has essentially ruled out, he and Robin take matters into their own hands and delve into the dark and twisted worlds of the other three men.

Another fun listen, with characters that are becoming as beloved as another series by this wonderful author. Really enjoy the overall details gained about each of the main characters, as well as the fast paced plot. Already looking forward to the next title!

Historia
Brooke was drawn to the soulful, enigmatic Julian Alter the very first time she heard him perform “Hallelujah” at a dark East Village dive bar. Now five years married, Brooke balances two jobs—as a nutritionist at NYU Hospital and as a consultant to an Upper East Side girls’ school, where privilege gone wrong and disordered eating run rampant—in order to help support her husband’s dream of making it in the music world.

Sophmoric rock & roll fantasy
Revisado: 08-02-11
Ultimately this was a boring and juvenile story of quasi over-priviledged people living out their fantasies. The question is: "would anyone REALLY care about these people?" The answer is most definately NO. The main character's (name already forgotten) continually whined over wanting to stay in a committed relationship while working professionally - while also dealing with her husbands newly discovered fun-filled career. Quick call the Disney people for that ever popular "happily ever after" ending. Mind numbing DRIBBLE!

Historia
The dusty files of a venerable dictionary publisher, a hidden cache of coded clues, a story written by a phantom author, an unsolved murder in a gritty urban park: all collide memorably in Emily Arsenault's magnificent debut, at once a teasing literary puzzle, an ingenious suspense novel, and an exploration of definitions: of words, of who we are, and of the stories we choose to define us.

Broken Teaglass
Revisado: 08-29-10
One star is being generous with this title. I actually had to check back with Audible to see if this was an adult or childrens title. My 12 year old daughter reads and listens to more compelling literature than this. The narrators all had cloying voices that could only appeal to the "under 20 set" with life experiances in a similar range. Nothing was compelling, developed, or interesting. The dictionary - either in English, or any other language - would be a far more entertaining listen or read. Skip this at all costs!
