Good, though not quite what I thought it was
Revisado: 06-25-18
This is not a book on developing business systems!
Based on the title, I had thought it was a book relating to business systems.
This book is more of a personal development book geared toward trying to simplify your life through developing a systems in your personal life.
The book overall was OK, it at least was an interesting story and kept my interest.

Historia
Many people have million dollar ideas. They're confident that their new product or service or innovation will make them rich and that all their dreams will come true. The problem is: Most people don't know how to turn their million-dollar idea into millions of dollars. According to many social scientists, the most important thing in life is a person's social and professional network. In other words, the people around us - our associates, our team, our friends. The people we surround ourselves with - and the people we go to for advice - can mean the difference between success and failure.

Overall pretty good, but just a review..

I did like this book, but it is just excerpts from books that each author had written. I actually think I would have been a bit better off just buying each of the individual books.

not really what I had been expecting
Revisado: 11-09-17
This wasn't really what I had expected. With all of the names listed on this, I had expected a compilation of people, but had thought it would get to it a bit sooner.
The first half of this is spent mainly going over the pdf workbook that comes along with this. The way it is read, it almost sounds as if you are in a meeting with her, and in some parts she is still looking for her slide on talking points.
I assumed that the zig ziglar and others were excerpts from other lectures or recordings they had given, premaritally because this looks like it was published after zig ziglars death. Though my initial impression was that there would be more from them.

Historia
In the 1950s, it was enough for a family to have one bread-winner. In the 1970s and 1980s, families needed two incomes to get ahead. Today, in this world of economic upheaval, even dual-income families can barely make ends meet. Corporate downsizing and restructuring make the future of every job uncertain - and how can you plan for the rest of your life when it's difficult to plan for next week?

Historia
We often treat the word capacity as if it were a natural law of limitation. Unfortunately most of us are much more comfortable defining what we perceive as off limits rather than what's really possible. Could it be that many of us have failed to expand our potential because we have allowed what we perceive as capacity to define us? What if our limits are not really our limits?

Just OK... Other John Maxwell books are better
Revisado: 07-04-17
If you could sum up No Limits in three words, what would they be?
not my favorite
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
narration was way too slow! I had to set the speed to 1 1/4 for him to sound like a normal person.
Any additional comments?
overall this book was OK, though I may think that partially because I was thrown off by the narration. I've read and listened to other John Maxwell books in the past, and that though this has some good content, the others are a lot better in content.

The Art of Money Getting

Historia
In this "mini-book", P.T. Barnum gives practical rules that allowed him to stay out of debt and to acquire wealth. The "rules" are illustrated by homespun stories. While some of these of this may seem like common sense, it is the kind of common sense that Wall Street, the government and many ordinary people seem to have forgetten about in recent years. This is a small book but one that could have large consequences for your financial future.
