Historia
In 2059, two vastly different groups of people portrayed by the compelling trio of Brendan Fraser (Academy Award winner), Luke Kirby (Emmy Award winner), and Vanessa Sears (Dora Award winner) undergo cryonic suspension. While their bodies are frozen, their minds, still active and awake, are uploaded into a massive quantum computer. The first group are all astronauts, about to leave Earth on a one-way interstellar colonization mission. The second group consists of convicted murderers and volunteers who elect to serve their sentences in a virtual-reality prison.

Brain power required
Revisado: 11-10-23
Note:Not giving away any plot lines in this review. Wasn’t sure what to expect from an audible original, but tried it and was not disappointed! Totally out of my normal genre and am now a sci-if fan! LOVED hearing multiple narrators. It’s a quick listen on a long car ride, and made me really use brain power for math and science! Loved it!

almost perfect
Revisado: 09-30-17
I have loved all the books in this series. there were two things that I didn't like about this particular book. and it's really just me nitpicking...at times, the story moved slowly. and you are introduced to several characters who are seemingly held against their will, at one point two of the women just disappear. you are led to believe maybe they are in a dungeon ? but then, even at the end of the story when justice is served, it never circles back to anyone being released, bodies being discovered, etc.

too quiet
Revisado: 08-11-17
My only complaint is that the recording was unusually quiet compared to my other audible books. there were several moments that were too quiet to hear.

most exciting so far
Revisado: 06-01-17
this book has so much action, twists and turns. visits from Alec and Magnus; bigotry exposed; modern social situations...and this narrator is by far the BEST!!! he is the reason I'm taking the time to write a review. finished the book in a few days because he added SO much feeling to the characters. Love all of her works, and this time she hit a homerun with the narrator. great job. Can't wait till 2019!
