My new least-favorite book in the series
Revisado: 10-01-23
What makes this series special and the reason I come back to it over and over is the interaction of Strike and Robin…..This book was lacking in that. There were many times I just skipped to the end of the chapter trying to get it done sooner.
Performance was great as always, story was ridiculous.
Increased length of book does not always equal a better book.

Historia
This breathtaking novel travels more than a century between two love stories set in the Australian seaside town of Lighthouse Bay. In 1901, a ship sinks off the coast of Lighthouse Bay in Australia. The only survivor is Isabella Winterbourne - escaping her loveless marriage and the devastating loss of her son - who clutches a priceless gift meant for the Australian Parliament. Suddenly, this gift could be her ticket to a new life, free from the bonds of her husband and his overbearing family.

A Great Story
Revisado: 05-31-21
This is a story I can listen to over again. I like the way Kimberley Freeman bounces between a story from the past and back to the present. The "historical" story went on a bit too long for me in this one. Still a good book.... not as good as Wildflower Hill, in my opinion.

BORING
Revisado: 03-04-19
This story doesn't follow the writer's usual method. I can listen to her others like Duet multiple times, but I was bored with this one until the last chapter. I would not recommend Gold Dust.
