Historia
The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all. But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy.

Another Banger
Revisado: 11-19-24
A good chunk of the science mumbo jumbo few over my head, but that did NOT take away from the story. I found myself speculating, guessing, pondering, and feeling giddy over a LOT that was happening. I also struggled to keep track of dime differences, seeing as there was just SO MUCH happening all at once. This series is AMAZING, and despite some thinking it should have ended with the third book, I think the story is just getting to the good part. The overall narrative is complicated, it touches on things I had not heard of until now. speculative theories, amazing descriptions of scenes, and making me sit on the edge of my seat for what's to come next. I can not WAIT for the fifth book in this line up, and I hope others can enjoy the amazing world... uh... universe building that this author has.

He knows he planned to build a life for himself on Gravas Station, but he has no clue what he's been doing for the last half cycle. Nor does he understand why his ship crashed. As cities and countries continue to fall, the colony of Rivendell in the alternate Earth known as Outland looks more and more like the only real hope for humanity. But life in Rivendell isn’t getting any simpler, either. Nothing Bad To Say
Revisado: 03-10-23
Look, I know there are people here who are trying to find a bad thing to say but... I can't. Once again Mr. Taylor has created a God damned masterpiece. Much like the Bobaverse, I hope it continues. I am deeply invested in the story, the characters, and the future for the colony as a whole. I am excited to see what the results of the end of the first year in Rivendell will look like! Also... I swear to fuck, SOMEONE.... wants to try dino meat. I can not be the only one!

Stunning as always
Revisado: 09-30-22
Once again Dennis has proven to be a Fantastical writer. His stories never cease to impress, and I look forward to more. Personally I hope this story continues, each character was such a joy that it is difficult to think they are fictional. If this is how their story ends however, Mr Taylor has done a wonderful job at ending it. Cliff hangers are not a usual part of his story telling, but with Dennis, I never seem to know what he has up his sleeve next.
Congratulations sir, on yet another masterpiece. 👏

Historia
I fell in love with an alien. Our world was invaded by carnivorous freaks and the Dahk swooped in and saved me and my friends. They want to save the Earth but we are our own worst enemy, or so I thought. The truth is we have no idea what's out there. Now I'm on my way to Home World. The Dahk's world. An alien world. I had no choice, it was taken from me. I tell myself I hate him but I don't. I miss him. But we have bigger problems to face. Problems I'll realize are massively more impactful than just myself and my own little space in the universe.

Narrator Lacking, Killed the Story.
Revisado: 07-09-21
The first book was full of so much energy. It made me laugh, it made me cry. Never did I think it would be so amazing by the cover art, sample and summary. However, I admit a lot of that had to do with the narrator. He gave life into each character he played and made them all so different.
Here, in this book. That appreciation is lost. The narrator barely puts any inflection in her voice, she sounds dull and tired. Nothing like before. I hope that this book can be redone by the original Narrator, Christopher Bousher. He was far better.

Unexpected Enjoyment
Revisado: 01-02-21
I have got to say, this is one of the better romance novels out there. The female lead had depth to her and she wasn't some push over Mary Sue that always accompanies romances such as these. I did notice a lot of people seem to dislike the Male lead, but I find him charming. Realistic if anything. Men aren't perfect, some are jerks and dense as rocks like he is here. I find it refreshing to have an idiot for a male lead instead of a man whose only goal is to bow down and be a perfect little puppy for the woman. He dominates, he tries to control her but finds he can't. He isn't forcing anything on her, and he isn't bending over backwards to please her either. Good realism based in an anger issue male. I can't wait to see more from this universe. I hope to see a sequil.

Good read, Decent Narrator, Awesome World.
Revisado: 12-03-20
This story is far more appealing then at first glance. It brings out a new, colorful world with interesting characters and species. I admit the narrator was a little flat, but the book itself well made up for it. I personally can't wait to see what happens next in this story and hope there is much to come in later books.

What Should and Could
Revisado: 03-12-20
Personally, I love the Kindred Series. However, it feels like it's being watered down. The narrator is very VERY dull and gives no life to the voices of the characters. His over all lack of enthusiasm in every book now is slowly twiddling away my enjoyment of these series. I highly recommend changing to another Narrator who could give proper life and color to the characters of this series.
Secondly, the story is interesting and I am far more involved with that then the sex scenes. I use to enjoy them, but now it is repetitive. Using the same descriptors over and over again, giving hardly any explanation to the sexual desires if a characters, and ALWAYS having the characters be confused over their own sex drive. Woman at the ages described would not be so confused as to why their body is reacting in this kind of way. Instead they would be more annoyed or aggravated that they can't control their own desires.
Another thing I find lacking is the over all explanations. The lack of communication between characters gives WAY to much unnecessary conflict. Drama where there is no need. Instead of that, have the kindred males sit down with their females, explain things in detail instead of discovering little problems here and there through out the books. Have the conflict be more revolved around the villain of the series rather then your own body. Give us a female protagonist who is more accepting of the changes going on through her body and be more empowered and less of a whiner.
Like I stated before, I highly enjoy the plot, but the three biggest issues are the narrator being dull, the repetitive sexual descriptions and the characters miscommunication and confusion. Fix these three things in future books and this series would grow far more in popularity. I want this series to be well known and adored, but if it continues as a repetitive pace, it will fall and loose itself current fan base.

A series of weather and road mishaps leave me trapped in the middle of a blizzard with a complete stranger. In the back of a pickup truck. For 48 freakin' hours. A stranger with long hair, tattoos, and rippling with muscle. A stranger with an insanely sexy voice and a wicked smile that turns my insides to jelly. A stranger who holds me in his arms, calms me, and then sets a fire in me that I can't put out.

Pretty good listen with decent characters. I loved the over all story and thing it was well written. however, the narrator sometimes goes loud and quiet and I can get confused if the character is thinking or speaking.
