Cute HEA romance
Revisado: 03-10-22
I love this story the characters were really funny and sweet and a lot of the book was really relatable monologues about love and heartbreak. I did get worried it would have a bittersweet ending but I’m glad I continued to listen and gave it a chance!

Feel good coming of age
Revisado: 01-24-22
This series is so romantic and every time I think I can’t love these characters any more than I already do they continue to prove me wrong. This one was a tear jerker but it wasn’t unbearably sad Lin Manuel has such a soothing voice and his delivery really brings each character alive.

Finally a better love story than twilight.
This was great for me. I’m super into ABO dynamics and the found family trope so I went on an emotional rollercoaster with Ox. He is such a lovable character this story had equal points angst, drama, and sickeningly sweet fluff. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into the rest

Historia
Greece in the age of heroes. Patroclus, an awkward young prince, has been exiled to the kingdom of Phthia to be raised in the shadow of King Peleus and his golden son, Achilles. “The best of all the Greeks”—strong, beautiful, and the child of a goddess—Achilles is everything the shamed Patroclus is not. Yet despite their differences, the boys become steadfast companions. Their bond deepens as they grow into young men and become skilled in the arts of war and medicine—much to the displeasure and the fury of Achilles’ mother, Thetis, a cruel sea goddess with a hatred of mortals.

This book makes me feel so so so good. Like I don’t think it has really sunk in maybe I’ll edit this later. But as a queer person of color this book really touched my heart.

Wow... narrator didn’t need to go that hard did he?
Revisado: 10-11-18
The story is kind of plain and boring at times only because there isn’t much room for world building since it has to be historically accurate but some of the characters were cute and likable. Lots of cute tropes I enjoyed for the pirates theme. The narration really made me enjoy it. It’s super smutty and it’s read in a really believable way I had fun! 3.9/5

it was ok
Revisado: 12-12-17
too cliche to be relatable at all but I'm always down got a good prince / pauper story if told right. I liked the French speaking narrator, with more was expanded into Jules personal life. the romance started off a bit one sided and I'm glad it at least evolved there towards the end. maybe it's too soon to judge since I have not read the others yet
