Good but needs an assault warning

I really enjoy this continued story but was devastated when there was a part containing sexual assault (spoiler - I think chapter 10, right after the kidnapping). A warning would have been appreciated.

Fun storyline and exciting

Loved this book. Never felt bored of the story or like there was a lull. Also enjoyed the various points of view that are used. Adds a new perspective to the book.

Yikes. Not the greatest Narrator for this story

I LOVE this series. The first three books were some of my favorite books and I’ve read/listened to them three times. When the next few books came out, I was so excited. The narration is just a huge disappointment. I really am surprised in the change from the initial narrator. In this book, the names aren’t pronounced the same, the characters have completely new accents, etc. It’s as if the narrator didn’t listen to the first three to try and provide some consistency for the readers/listeners. It’s definitely a shame because this author is fantastic and the story is good. I’m only on chapter three and having a hard time getting through it with the new narrator. But if you can get over the crazy changes, I can still recommend.

Great book, easy listen, should have a warning label though

Love the author and narrator. The narrator is especially one of my favorites. The book is easy to listen to - I went through the whole thing in two days and never felt bored. I will say though, there’s a couple different triggers in this book regarding assault and it definitely caught me off guard. Otherwise, I enjoyed the book and will buy the second one.

Always great duo

The author and narrator are always a great duo. I’ve loved everything I’ve listened to by Jaymin Eve and/or narrated by Vanessa Moyan. Book ended on a great cliffhanger! Excited for the next one.

Can’t decide how I feel about the main character

I can’t decide if I think it’s “cute” that she’s a total klutz and ditz or if I’m completely annoyed by it. Gonna have to listen to the next book to decide!

Enjoyed the storyline, could have gone without the graphic sex scenes though

I’ve loved this series and can’t wait to listen to the third book. I will say, though, that I could have done without graphic sex scenes. Didn’t take away from the story, though, so still five stars from me.

Love this series

This series is so easy to listen to and get lost in. There was very rarely a moment when I had to make myself pay attention to the story. Easy to follow and nice job by the narrator.
