An excellent follow up to book one in the Sinclair Brothers Trilogy collection. The narrator, Tim Campbell, brings the story to life with his rich voice and lively presentation. I am looking forward to book 2.5, a novella featuring cousin, Burke Sinclair who appears in both Book 1 and Book 2.

I thoroughly enjoyed this action packed love story narrated by one of the best narrators of Scottish Highlander romance books. Mr. Tim Campbell. He really brouht the story to life for me! I look forward to next chapter of the Sinclair Clan!

I could have listened to this audiobook in it’s entirety for the story but the narrator prevented this process for me. I really tried to go with her strange presentation of each sentence as if it was a list of sentences instead of paragraphs. So I kept skipping ahead chapters spending only 3 hrs instead of 9 hrs and 32 min. I know I missed plenty but with this narration, it was the best I could do.

So worth the wait!!!

Wow! I listened to all 27 hours straight through and it was so worth it! I laughed, cried, cringed, steamed, and so enjoyed the historical tidbits throughout! The only bad thing now is having to wait until 2022 for the next Brooch to appear and sure hope it is produced on @audible.com as well. It’s my understanding this is an expensive endeavor but please think of us who can only “read” books via audio. Keep up the great work @KatherineLowryKogan …I love your Brooch Series!!!

Oh, how I wish I could have finished this audiobook but the narrator made it impossible!!
I know this story would be a good one if it was really-recorded with a better narrator.

Another bust due to narration

I hope it was a good story but I couldn’t get through it. Loss of about twenty five dollars for books 6 and 7 since I paid for them versus using credits.

Worst narration ever! I don’t know if story is worthwhile because I could only listen for 15 minutes and HAD to turn it off!
Too bad since I enjoyed the previous five books!

After listening for so long...

After so many hours of listening to this Fever series, I could not get through this book because of the narration. I should have stopped with Burned since it was the last one narrated by Natalie Ross and Phil Gigante. I kept hope alive that narrators would improve story-telling but the opposite happened culminating with this book as the worst.
I found myself skipping chapters just so I could get to the end, something I never like to do...taking a 15 hour book down to five.

A Full Life

I am a reader that just enjoys a long, well narrated, exciting story that will take my mind in becoming part of the book. This series did just that!! I’m not a technical critic nor do I linger on any errors. I experienced joys, fears, relief, great sadness, many many tears, laughter. I was left craving more and more.

I will wistfully miss this wonderful family and I am grateful to have had this time together! Thank you, Kate Reading, for reading so well the voices and making each beloved character come to life for me!
Thank you, Sara Donati...well done!!! Keep up the historical fiction, I look forward to your next series! I do hope you don’t keep us waiting too long.
