Historia
On a snowy winter evening in 1982, 21-year-old Mary Brown accepted a ride from a handsome stranger in the resort town of Breckenridge, Colorado. The trip ended with her brutally beaten and raped. Mary survived, but her predator's violence had only just begun. After 10 years in prison, Tom Luther was released a far more vicious criminal. Soon, from the Rockies to West Virginia, like Ted Bundy, Luther enticed a chain of women into his murderous trap.

Extremely thorough
Revisado: 09-14-24
While I found this story to be fascinating, I felt the book was entirely too long. I think I could’ve gotten the gist of it in a much shorter timeframe. The narration was fantastic. Overall, a very enjoyable book, but extreme detail and sometimes repetitive.

Historia
When Boady Sanden first receives the case of Elijah Matthews, he’s certain there’s not much he can do. Elijah, who believes himself to be a prophet, has been locked up in a psychiatric hospital for the past four years, convicted of brutally murdering the pastor of a megachurch. But as a law professor working for the Innocence Project, Boady agrees to look into Elijah’s file. When he does, he is alarmed to find threads that lead back to the death of his colleague and friend, Ben Pruitt, a man shot to death four years earlier in Boady’s own home.

Nothing
Revisado: 05-23-24
Sooooo disappointed!! This author is one of my favorites. But this was a giantmiss. The storyline was weak. The characters were weak and not much of anything happened. And then all of a sudden, at the end, he threw together some B movie activity and wrapped up the book.

Historia
In a small Southern town where loyalty to family and to "your people" carries the weight of a sacred oath, defying those unspoken rules can be a deadly proposition. After 15 years of growing up in the Ozark hills with his widowed mother, high-school freshman Boady Sanden is beyond ready to move on. He dreams of glass towers and cityscapes, driven by his desire to be anywhere other than Jessup, Missouri. The new kid at St. Ignatius High School, if he isn't being pushed around, he is being completely ignored.

Twists and turns in the story
Revisado: 01-02-24
I was very impressed with the character development. I really cared about these people and what happened to them. I liked the level of violence without getting too graphic. I thought it was a well balanced book with characters that mattered, excitement, and unexpected twist and turns.

Historia
When an early morning call brings Deputy Ben Packard to the scene of a home invasion, he finds Bill Sandersen shot in his bed. Bill was a well-liked local who chased easy money his whole life, leaving bad debts and broken hearts in his wake. Everyone Packard talks to has a story about Bill, but no one has a clear motive for wanting him dead. The business partner. The ex-wife. The current wife. The high-stakes poker buddies. Any of them—or none of them—could be guilty.

Really enjoyed!!
Revisado: 08-22-23
This is the second book from this author, and I have enjoyed both. Really growing to like the cast of characters, especially the protagonist. Mystified why both books have a female narrator when we have a male protagonist? Not sure that was the best choice for these books. Already looking forward to the next one!

Disappointed
Revisado: 10-14-22
I really looked forward to his book. I LOVED the first 2 books, but this one was the worst of the series. Almost no character development, very little sexy encounters, and overall boring. I'm just completed disappointed.

So disappointed with this book. All the hype for nothing. Sooooo boring. Just went on and on with nothing happening. I actually didn't care after 2/3 of the book. I finished it, but wish I hadn't bothered.

Historia
Redheaded freshman Jeremy Cherry Rourke is certainly living up to his childhood nickname, although still being inexperienced is the least of his concerns. After coming out, his parents barely talk to him. He hasn't made any friends at university. Worst of all, he's about to spend Christmas completely alone in an empty dorm. Jeremy clearly needs a fairy godfather, so football captain Max Pimenta takes him under his wing to help him find his dating groove. But Jeremy's wound way too tight. He's too vulnerable. Max can't trust some random guy with him.

Don't Waste a Credit!
Revisado: 11-01-21
One of my favorite books was written by Roan Parrish, but she really missed the mark on this one. Just a "nothing" book. Terrible lack of character development. Corbin is too weird. The story is rushed and you are left wondering what is going on. Jumps around. Must have been forced to meet a deadline with this one. Probably penned it out in a night. Clearly no real effort went into this story.
