Sequels are seldom better than the first book, but somehow this keeps getting better and hotter – it’s a real “Catching Fire” or “The Last Graduate” situation that way. No spoilers but “To Be Continued Now” is somehow taking the irresistibly sexy Ashley and Luke to new levels. I legit think I got a UTI from chapter 16, not sayin’ just sayin’ ;) 😜

Grace Woods is doing the beautiful textures and smart details and side-characters who feel so real. Honestly, I’m as blown away by the craft of this as I am by the sexiness. Page turning cliff-hangers seem to be a Woods specialty, as are drops of gorgeous, poetic prose with superb pacing and side-characters who are so real. I think I'm fairly in love with even the nemisis now. Also, shout out to Elena Wolfe, man is she good – even in French and Spanish. OK I’m so ready for book three!

The sexiest organ of the body is the brain, and this scorching read lit mine right up -- smart, steamy, HOT, HAUGHT HOTTTT! Ashley and billionaire Luke are incredibly sexy characters and throughout the story, Woods holds a dramatic tension that stays delicious until it gets exquisite. Loved the sensual descriptions and sharp writing, but what really surprised me is what I learned about: environmental issues, chemistry, various facts about the natural world, the social world of oil barons, and even about social services and grants. How can grant writing be sexy? Well, you’ll just have to read and see.

I listened to this while walking on a trail in the woods and I was pretty sure bears were going to come around sniffing the pheromones jumping off me, but the brainy science teacher Ashley taught me that pheromones don’t smell. If they did, I’d for sure be eaten right now ‘cause this read ramps up one’s personal chemistry and is the just the escape I needed. Can’t wait to continue to book two of “To Be Continued”...

When I read a David Sedaris book I feel like a guest at the family table, a trusted friend allowed to know the intimacies of a complex mind, and a student of an artist whose mastery of phrase, timing, humor and story is even richer than the honorary degree Princeton gave him for it. Sedaris paints a dark world, but the hues seem (sometimes depressingly) accurate to my experience. The entertainment value Sedaris offers is utterly unique and shockingly honest. I was moved, enlightened and laughing all the way through "Happy-Go-Lucky."
