It was ok, however there are no complex characters and the end oof each book is entirely predictable. The author should take some time for firearms training so his descriptions are at least accurate.

I did enjoy the story in general, however, there were long stretches of simply discussing background information that I personally found uninteresting.

The technical details of how the searches were made were interesting and the field in general is fascinating.

In reality this book is a biography for Bruce. Only the last two chapters talk about changes he believes need to be made to US soccer to make us more competitive. The rest walks you through his early career as a lacrosse player and then coach.

It details how he got into coaching soccer and his description of his international experiences is very interesting. Having attended a few national coaching schools it’s no mystery to me why we are behind, the training is below standard and focuses too much on someone’s “one true way of coaching”.

Worth the read but the title is less than accurate.

His bias is obvious. Interesting points but not worth the time or money. Even had he not declared his political allegiance it is obvious from his conclusions.

It was enjoyable to read about the back country and the rangers who watch over it. Regarding Randy it was interesting to read about his life though ultimately it is a story about a very selfish person doing only what he wanted regardless of others.

Andy has done the country a favor by exposing Antifa's behavior along with their focus. They are Marxist Anarchists and their goal is to bring down the US Government. Think French Revolution style (how'd that turn out). Antifa is highly organized, well funded, and are a scourge to our society; local, state, and federal governments must confront this group and stop allowing them to terrorize our cities.

If you are not a sympathizer then you are a Nazi and are fair game for whatever they want to do to you. They actually are our modern fascists.

A big thank you to Andy for shining the light on this organization.

The book started slowly with quite a lot of background on the various people. Once the ship was on its way it became more and more interesting. Absolutely the men's ability to survive their ordeal was remarkable, however, what was much more interesting was a look into the culture of the desert. Stealing was simply a part of life, expected. If something was taken from you well too bad. It was your fault for allowing someone to take it. Very interesting.

If you have read "Endurance - The Shackleton Expedition" this is similar except in a desert setting.

I highly recommend this book.

With each Last Stand historic circumstance is described in detail for the reader so much so this book gives the reader an expansive view of history and not simply a blow by blow description of a particular battle. Mr Walsh pulls the common threads and places them in perspective. When all appears to be lost do you stand and fight or turn and run? The vast majority stand with their comrades to make their enemy pay as dearly as possible.

I highly recommend this book to anybody who studies human behavior and our basic nature over time.
