All the production flaws in volume 1 have been completely eliminated. Zero complaints 10/10.

The story jumps around a lot between flight crews, pilots, command staff, etc. which is a little confusing at the beginning, but it all starts making sense rather quick after the first couple times and you get a feel for everyone involved. Like volume 1, Medal of Honor is a fantastic story that gives you a really good insight into the chaos that Vietnam offered up for these guys in the huey’s. I know this just came out, but I can’t wait until volume three is released to expand the story that Chicken Man has to tell.

First, don’t be thrown off with the “based on true events”. During interviews the author explains the stories are all true, but it’s listed as fiction because some family members of the deceased or the individuals still alive didn’t want their names in the book. So he changed their names around in order to tell the stories without running into legal issues.

Now, for the actual production, the narration was okay, but there is a lot of background noise (I would very much like to see the cat with the bell I kept hearing). There are some obvious sport where names of villages and regions were cut in because of pronunciation. There’s also consistent pauses where you can hear the clicking of switching to the next page.

That is where the bad ends, just wanted to get that out of the way. The actual narration is rather decent when on a roll. The technical description of what it was like to fly in a Huey is really good, the actual insight to warrant officers is really good. Who knew they did more than drink coffee and judge everyone for not being smart? I’m really glad these stories are being told, can’t wait to move on the other volumes!

Tom Stranger delivers a grand story of excellent customer support in the business of inter dimensional insurance coverage. Those blasted dolphins need to chill out. And the ILOH shows himself to be, once again, a fiscally responsible arms dealer to maintain premiums on his inter dimensional insurance policy through Stranger and Stranger.
