Historia
A verified Amazon review-The Christmas House is the embodiment of the Christmas Spirit. Magical, wondrous, full of the warmth generated by the company of family and friends during good times and hard. This book hits you with a healthy dose of reality, but it also takes you on a fantastical journey filled with hope and joy, grace and forgiveness. If you don't examine it too closely, but just let the words transport you on a trip that will engage your emotions and give you cause to ponder what can be real, what may be true - if "close your eyes" and open your heart, this book will bring it all ...

Historia
Margo Harper is done with love. After swearing off it once before, she fell for the safe bet, the sure thing...but the only thing she can be sure of now is that her marriage is over. With only one place to go, she returns to Maine, desperate for her grandmother's pancakes, her sisters' laughter, and maybe a chance to begin again. But while Margo may have run home, she doesn't plan on staying, especially when she comes face-to-face with the first man who ever broke her heart.

Great book, story, and loved the location. I didn’t care for Brigette’s selfishness about the home. It was almost too much. But other than her, it was great!

I love hearing about women and others who defied injustices like this! But I would have rather read the book.

Loved the book, not the language. The first time hearing an audible book in this format, but it’s like listening to a movie. I like it.

Historia
The murder of brutal landowner Fyodor Karamazov changes the lives of his sons irrevocably: Mitya, the sensualist, whose bitter rivalry with his father immediately places him under suspicion for parricide; Ivan, the intellectual, driven to breakdown; the spiritual Alyosha, who tries to heal the family's rifts; and the shadowy figure of their bastard half-brother, Smerdyakov. Dostoyevsky's dark masterwork evokes a world where the lines between innocence and corruption, good and evil, blur and everyone's faith in humanity is tested.

I can see why my son had a little, whatever it was, listening to the brother’s book. The story would probably be decent, but the author is so concerned with trying to sound so educated, and the reader doing the same, it’s really hard to keep up and keep it all straight. I can barely keep the characters straight, let alone what actually happens.

I love this series storyline and the characters but I really wish I could read without intimate details. I just want clean stories and not harlequins.

Historia
Shelley Anderson is trying to provide fun for her two young children when she rents the first floor of Sea View House a year after a painful divorce. The kids haven't been adjusting well, and the house is perfect. Daniel Stone, the man who's renting the top floor of the house, is trying to find his balance after losing his wife. He definitely wants to be left alone. He's less than thrilled by the instant rapport between his beautiful golden retriever and her two active kids. And he's definitely shaken by the rapport that springs up between himself and Shelley.

Matthew Parker, his two young sons, and his dad have shared a home since both men were widowed several years ago. And now, no women are needed in the Parker domain. Not As Much
Revisado: 09-16-23
I love Ms. Monroe’s books because I usually do not have to hear the Gd word or skip inappropriate moments, but not in this one for the word and I lost respect for Emmie in chapter 13, and Toy reveals that she’s learned nothing from her experience and only in a book would a good man come back after being told to leave once, much less twice.
